Sew For Hope provides sewing classes to refugees who have been resettled into the Nashville, TN area by the UNHRC.
All of our classes are for the length of one school semester. We follow the MNPS school calendar for holidays and snow days to so that our participants do not have to find childcare for their children.
We offer Basic Sewing classes as well as advanced classes for our graduates. Some of our advanced classes include Serger/Overlock, Machine Embroidery, Home Decor, Patternmaking, Alterations, Tailoring, Sewing for Children, Men's Dress Shirt, and more. If you would like to assist in a class, click above to access our volunteer page.
